DARWIN KARTING NEWS
DARWIN ACCOMMODATION - NT STATE KARTING CHAMPIONSHIPS / NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Several calls are coming in regarding the lack of affordable accommodation in Darwin and the associated costs of any available, for the period of the Karting Championships.
Now that school has recommenced, Darwin has “come alive” again. The DKA Committee has made several approaches to try and garner additional affordable Accommodation / Van spaces to assist in making the process of locating accommodation easier for our intending Interstate competitors.
Unfortunately, some of the organisations involved with responding to DKA, will not meet until later this month. The DKA Committee will not know if any of the enquiries will be successful.
Please stay tuned to the DKA Website and as soon as we have the responses from the various Organisations the outcomes will be published.
The DKA Committee thank you for your patience and understanding and assure you that while we are not in a position to make promises we are trying our very best to overcome this pressing issue.

2012 Nationals
The 2012 Nationals are fast approaching due the first week in July, one week after the State Titles. As it is the 50th anniversary of the nationals it is expected to be capacity fields in all classes bringing a probable 350 karters vying for class supremacy.
As usual support of events is always required and appreciated so if you are interested in promoting NT Motorsport to the greater community please contact the DKA dkasecretary@dka.org.au
