DARWIN KARTING ASSOCIATION PROFILE

The Darwin Karting Association (DKA) has always been one of the most progressive motor sport clubs to be found in the Northern Territory and has a proud record of independence in terms of financial stability and management infrastructure.

The DKA was first incorporated in 1976 and utilised the "13 mile" airstrip for many years until moving to our current location at Hidden Valley Motor Sport Complex in 1983. The club now boasts an International Standard racing track and is considered one of the best designs in the country.

The DKA and its members pride themselves on welcoming and sharing knowledge with newcomers and insist on being known not only as the "friendly motor sport club" but as

The DKA is affiliated with the Australian Karting Association Northern Territory (AKANT) and incorporated with the AKA. Therefore, the racing rules and regulations are legislated by the AKA national body, to which the DKA must conform.
